Seeking a unique individual to fill a combination position: Warehouse Associate and Order Desk CSR to be based in our Glendale location. You’ll work cooperatively with others to move product for viewing by customers, fill orders and restock the Warehouse, use excellent communication skills answering phones, computer entry of orders and providing customers with individualized service. Safety is our first priority.
Ability to lift, push, or pull 75+ lbs repetitively and work in a labor intensive, structured environment
Ability to work in shipping/receiving environment loading materials and granite slabs for tile installation professionals, fabricators and other customers
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to use and/or learn proper forklift operation required
Ability to read and understand order form and serial numbers
Ability to perform basic math functions
Basic computer skills working within Windows environment
Prior work experience working with tile, stone, granite or slabs, preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
Demonstrate an attitude of cooperation and respect
Communicate and develop rapport with customers
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and telephone
Safely operate forklift and perform repetitive lifting of up to 75+ lbs in warehouse and outside yard
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to provide individualized service
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Self starter who proactively finds solutions to customers’ needs
Ability to follow written procedures and verbal/non-verbal instructions
