We are now expanding into Austin/San Antonio with an office in north Austin coming soon. As such, we have an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Rep to cover Waco to South San Antonio.
You will prospect new business by calling on fabricators, contractors, designers, dealers, and builders. You will use proven negotiation techniques to find equitable solutions for both parties. Success will also involve assuring our high standards of service, introducing new products and expanding on the potential of existing. Position requires same day travel.
2+ years previous experience in Outside Slab Sales, including developing new market
Granite/Slab Industry experience preferred
College degree in business administration or marketing preferred
Highly productive, with great time management skills
Must have strong sales/customer service skills
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and telephone
Must be able to calculate figures and read documents and speak effectively before groups.
Intermediate computer skills including MS Outlook, Word and Excel
Demonstrate a positive attitude of cooperation and respect.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to provide individualized service and close the sell.
Self started who proactively finds solutions to customers’ needs.
Source and cold call on potential new clients to develop the new market.
Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve any potential concerns.
