Arizona Tile is currently seeking a Credit Manager to be based in our Tempe location. In this position, you will work closely with the Accounting Director to be responsible for maximizing the Company’s sales and profitability through timely, accurate and courteous handling of Customer credit accounts. This position addresses tight deadlines, requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make sound decisions. Additionally, the position is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable department. Position is a full-time, salaried, on-site position.

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree
* CPA preferred
* Strong Accounting Background with 2+ years’ experience, preferable in construction credit
* High-level of accuracy with strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
* Strategic decision-making skills
* Epicor's Prophet 21 software experience a plus
* CertCapture - AvaTax experience a plus
* Strong/advanced Computer Skills, including:
- Strong Excel Skills
- Knowledge of Sequel, preferred
- Pivot Tables
- Spreadsheet Server
- Report Writer, preferred

* Assessing potential customers’ creditworthiness and conduct review of existing customers to optimize sales.
* Solicit timely payments on customer accounts by making collection calls, emails and/or facsimile and work with collections agencies and/or attorneys, as needed.
* Manage staff responsible for: in-putting receivable daily, including data entry and reconciliation of data to ensure the accuracy of all payments; Balancing daily cash drawer closings; and making collection calls.
* Process new Credit Applications and maintain Job Accounts. Perform predictive analytics on existing balance to identify future problem areas.
* Maintain pre-liens filings, waivers/releases, and communicate with Sales Department.
* Produce timely and accurate "end of month" reports. Support the department with management of excel databases.
* Maintaining documentation of all correspondence.
